Sparkly

Beautiful morning so far, although it does look like we're clouding up and I think rain is coming soon. Not so good for MT since we're under flood warnings already. Our creek below is so high, it sounds like it's right behind the house. It is great to hear the rushing water though.
My bear woke me at 6:30. The minute he saw me he ran, so no photos. He was definitely a big guy and very camera shy I guess.

The hummingbirds are already out of control. I have six feeders up and fill them at least twice a day. I've been making a pot of their food at least every other day, and that's about 16 cups at a time. I guess it's obvious since that's all I've been photographing lately :)

One funny thing about the photo above. I had to sit in the wet grass to get this shot, and I had lots of help from cats. It was pretty quiet out besides the water and the birds and when I got up and turned around, the three turkeys were about 4 feet behind me just sitting there staring at me. They really surprised me and even made me laugh. I guess they know who throws the corn out.

I guess what you're saying is that sometimes you have to sit around with the turkeys to get the best shots. :)

Really pretty image.
