Happy Easter, everyone :)
Sadly I can't even think of touching that cheesecake. It's definitely been an interesting last few days.
My septic system flooded the lower level of my house a few days ago. Not the yucky septic you're probably thinking, thank goodness, but mainly from the washing machine. I had a lower level with a few inches of water and soap.
I had a hell of a time getting someone to come out this far to fix it without charging me per mile. Roto Rooter was 2 hours away, imagine that cost.
I finally got someone to come out from Sandpoint. Still not cheap, but better.
Actually, let me backtrack, Amy did all the work because I was struck down with a virus. I think one of the worst ones I've ever had. I'm still on my third day of it, and even though I can actually sit up and walk around today, I can't eat. I don't even want to eat.
A neighbor offered to take Amy and Cody to the airport, so thankfully I didn't have to make that drive. The only things I've HAD to do is walk out and feed the horses. Kinda sucks that's how Amy's week here ended, but I still think she had a nice visit.
We even got a few more inches of snow her last day here, and it was 21 degrees this morning. Spring's approaching very slowly.
