As I've mentioned before, I've decided to change this blog. I don't want to go through a lot of changes or trouble, so I've decided to just password protect.
I hate doing this, but there's just some reasons that will make me more comfortable if I know who's reading.

Friday 12.
1. We finally have a nice sunny day. It's 36 out, but it might as well be 50. It feels great and it's great to open windows and hang out outside. Short lived I'm sure though.
2. Sis left back to Texas the other day. G left too. The house is back to quiet and dark. I like it for now.
3. I have one very sick cat that probably won't be around for much longer :( I've postponed the inevitable twice because she is eating and purring. But I know it won't be long.
4. Drifter came in injured this morning. I'm sure all of her raccoon chasing has caught up with her. She won't lift her head and she has bites on her nose. Medications begin. Oh and the vet left yesterday. Of course.
5. The Wii Outdoor Challenge arrived yesterday. I will be kayaking this afternoon :)
6. I bought the most amazing sheets. Yes, I said sheets. They're polar fleece, soft and fuzzy. Yeah yeah, I know you're going to say, "I hate flannel hot sheets", but I said the same. These are different. You don't want to get out of bed. Go get some.
7. I hate that we don't have much of a recycling system around here. You can turn in cans and cardboard and paper, but that's about it. You used to be able to turn in bottles, but when the gas prices got so high, they quit coming out. No plastic recycling around either. I really hate throwing away that stuff.
8. This list is taking me forever to do.
9. We've decided to buy mountain bikes come Spring. It's really hilly here, so it could be a challenge, but it's a really beautiful place to ride a bike. And since he didn't go for the convertible or the motorcyle, then bikes will do :)
10. I started this list around noon, and it's now 2pm. Boy I lead an exciting life.
11. The deer still haven't come back around, I think it's been like a month. It's so weird not having them around. I'm interested to see what they'll do with the edible snowman. I guess the snow is till too deep to get around.
12. Okay well, this is all you're getting. It's 2:30 and I can't come up with two more exciting things about me.

Baby, it's Cold
It's cold. Very cold.
Last night we dipped to -11 degrees, and today a whopping 17. Tonight so far it's -3, but I'm sure it will drop more. I'm pretty sure sis has never been this cold. We haven't had fresh snow since she's been here, but it looks as if tomorrow night we have a winter storm coming through....of course, just as she's leaving. The law :)
She's heading back early because of a serious family illness back in Texas. I think it's been an interesting time for her here. She saw a little bit of life here when you're 'kinda' stranded at home, not much to do, too cold to go out. No kiddo to keep her busy. Not sure she was prepared for such boredom :) She's also trying to steal Taylor but she won't get away with it.
Got the Wii and Wii Fit last week. The games have been really fun, and I'll start the Wii Fit next week. It's nice to play something that gets you off the couch. I ordered the Outdoor Challenge which I've heard is fun and very active, even includes kayaking, Stace ;)
I think that's really about it around here. With the weather and icy roads, we just didn't get out much. No deer for weeks. Our snowman is still standing and feeding the squirrels and birds though :)

Yeah I'm a day late, so what.
1. I keep thinking I need to come over here and blog, but I don't feel I really have anything to say or blog about.
2. We had an intense snow period for a week there, and then two days of rain. We went from at least 4 feet of snow on the ground (which most is still there) and then flooding. The usual, although earlier in the year than normal.
3. There's actually blue sky today and sunshine, it almost seems too bright. I'd like to get out today but the roads are still pretty icy, hopefully that will change.
4. Sis has been here for 4 days and I think she already has cabin fever. She's been out twice today already on the 4-wheeler, and the downstairs is VERY clean. Weirdo.
5. I started a yearly photo project. One photo a day for year. Not a difficult project, although it does suck if you forget about it until late at night. I do think it will be cool to document each day for a year.
6. The turkey is still around, although with the depth of the snow I haven't seen deer in over a week. It's weird not to see them daily. It's definitely that "something missing" feeling.
7. I received a blog award from the Divine Miss B... I'll get to that soon, thanks :) (course I can't imagine getting an award for doing nothing lately)
8. Have you ever noticed that the prettier it is outside, the more sunny it is, the dirtier your house looks? Kinda kills the mood.
9. Okay.. I'm stuck. Whatcha want to know?... I'm thinking of moving this blog. Maybe if I move it, change some settings etc, I'll be willing to blog more. We'll see.
10. I saw Hancock recently, I really liked it. Which surprised me.
I think Bride Wars looks funny. I still haven't seen the Sex and The City movie. Oh and I've decided I might have to get into college football. Who to choose?
11. Of course you'd think I'd go with A&M, G's alma mater, but um... I'd like to watch a winning team. He doesn't think that's funny.
12. I can't wait for the Wii to get here. I think sis and I will have a blast. Soon I hope. Any recommendations where to order? Anyone? Anyone?
13. Yay.. last one! It's only taken me forever to get this done. What to say what to say...
Oh!.. okay I have something. As you know, I watch Home Improvement pretty often. Love the show. Pretty often when I change the channel to watch it, I watch the ending of another show until it comes on. This show, usually, is Family Matters. I.can't.stand.this.show. Seriously. I don't get it. It's annoying and stupid and I don't understand how this was EVER a primetime popular show.
That urkel character is annoying as hell, with a chalkboard like voice. The idea that the smart pretty daughter of this family would end of marrying this guy by the end?? Nope, uh uh... doesn't happen.
Now you'd think I've watched the show, but I've never watched a full episode mainly because just the last few minutes each day drives me insane and I have to mute it before I throw the remote through the screen. Did I mention it's annoying?
Okay there ya go.
