1. Hey looky there... I was thinking of TT, and it's actually Thursday :)

2. Twenty degrees this morning and I still haven't started the wood stove. Yes, I procrastinate that job. I don't think I can much longer though.

3. I can't seem to keep a fire going this morning.. does wood get too cold to burn?

4. The turkey is still here, I guess he's a new pet. The cats and deer don't seem to mind him although Taylor thinks he's here to chase.

5. Marble's back home. She's a lot calmer then she was before and stands her ground. As if she wasn't a pill already :)

6. No snow on the ground yet, although the mountains are covered and some of the trees. I'm guessing it will be around Thanksgiving, as usual.

7. Sadly, I'll miss my Cowboys this Thanksgiving. I'm going to a friends for T-dinner and they don't have TV. (yikes..imagine that??)

8. I can't decide whether to Tivo it or not... I'm sure I can't wait the whole day without finding out the score.

9. My homemade chicken noodle soup came out awesome. I think I could live on it. I think next I'm going to try homemade tomato soup.

11. My cards are selling pretty well, I've even had some requests for larger framed photos. I've actually been pretty impressed with my photos in 11x14. The most popular so far is the Trout/Marble photo from Christmas.

12. Two grizzlies were killed recently ~ Read Here, this makes me sad. Especially the idiot shooting out of season.

13. I haven't seen any bear recently, although they do leave evidence around my yard. ( Hey, Stace.. there's SOME poopkeh!). I guess they're about to hibernate for the Winter.

Believe it or not, I just sat down here to write a Thursday Thirteen. It was now I realized it's Monday. Yeah, welcome to my life.

So.. Monday. Hmm... isn't this supposed to be Things That Annoy Me Monday?

I really really hate when people call my house several times without leaving a message. IF it's important, IF you want to reach someone or have someone call you back.... leave.a.message.
It's not hard. There's this little voice, and then a little beep and then you speak.
Leave your name, and a phone number would be good. You might even want to say why you're calling. That's it.

Easy Peasey.

And I just might call you back :)

Things That Annoy Me

So I hate calling this one company. We'll call it SPOON network. I never get someone that I can understand, or sometimes understands me. I truly dread calling them for anything.
I recently had my antenna and dvr upgraded to go with my HD tv. That in itself was a pain since they rescheduled on me twice, but you know, oh well. And yeah, they were late--shocker. But once it was done, it was done and I was done with them. I thought.

Today I get a message on my voicemail that they will be here for the appt. tomorrow morning between 8-12. I called to tell them they were mistaken and I didn't have an appt, it's already been done.

First : I get that stupid recorded man that asks you to SAY what you want. That annoys me. Then when I didn't get what I want, I had to SAY I want a human. I finally pressed "0" a few times to finally get a person.
I get a woman with a very strong accent that I can hardly understand (shocker), and she repeats twice that I have an appt tomorrow morning.

I tell her no... I don't. It's already been done.
She says, we're upgrading your antenna right?
Umm..no.. it's already been done.

Second : She says that she can cancel that appt. for me. For me? I didn't make the mistake.. sigh..

Third : I forgot this part earlier, why is it that when you first call, you have to type in your phone number, and then hit a bunch of buttons to get to "customer service" or "technical help", just so you can get someone on the phone that then asks for your phone number again, then asks what you need help with? Didn't we already do this??

Anyway, after we get this appt. canceled, she goes on to try to upgrade my programming and sell me something new!
Are you kidding? I call to correct their mistake, and I'm getting a sales call? Nevermind that I had to ask her to repeat it twice because I couldn't understand half what she was saying.

Yeah..that annoys me.

13 Anythings

1. I don't believe I have 13 things to say, but I'm going to wing it...

2. Still in the 20's at night, everything is wilted and brown. Time for snow. (*Oh and Stace.. yes I complained about snow last season, but it was because I had SIX FEET of snow on the ground!!.. I still love snow :)

3. I've been burning a fire in the fireplace daily. I love fireplaces. I need one in my bedroom.

4. If I were ever to rebuild my house, I'd add one in my bedroom. Oh and I'd redo the bathroom and the closet. You can tell a single man built this house.

5. I have a bag of bird seed (sunflower) in the house so the bear can't get into it. I want to know why Jonesie won't stay out of it. He makes a huge mess and doesn't even eat it.

6. Today I noticed my "pet" turkey is now coming onto the porch and eating out of the cat food bowls.

7. My heel has gotten worse and I had to order that pretty sock. Maybe I'll use it for a Friday Feet. Shexxxy.

8. I'm selling the Nikon and have already sold one lens. I posted on Flickr but I guess the price is a little much. NOT much for what it's really worth, but maybe hard for people to grasp. I might have to slash my prices. Or.. go with Craigslist and sell it in Seattle. I'd like to avoid Ebay if I can.

9. I've been really craving tomato soup lately. I've got to get out and go to the store. Perfect winter food.

10. I had to sit through a Clint Eastwood marathon yesterday. One thing I noticed, and now I can't remember the movie..maybe The Gauntlet? But there were two scenes where they shot up a house and a bus. OVERKILL? Good grief. The house fell down because of so many shots ( yeah, right ) and the bus scene? Sorry.. but ridiculous. No way cops would shoot up a bus that many times for that long. Two really dumb scenes.
(*I looked it up at IMDB.com, and they shot that bus 8000 times.)

11. The reason I sat through Clint Eastwood marathon? Because he really thought he could get away with watching Deliverance. Ah.. NO. I rarely say anything about what he wants to watch, but there's two movies I won't watch. Deliverance and King Kong. That's why we have three TV's.. he can watch it somewhere else. He chose Clint Eastwood.

12. There was a bear hit by a car on the road yesterday. I SO wanted to stop and look, check it out. G didn't go for it though. I bet that car ain't so pretty now.

13. I want to see the movie "W". But, I'm sure like everything else, I'll see it when it hits cable.
**Did I mention my big HDTV is up now? Too cool, I love it. Bring on football!**

Scavenger Hunt : Lazy

1. 27 degrees this morning. It was quite frosty out. I hear we're expecting some snow this weekend.

2. I got a request to sell my photo cards at a second store. While dropping those off today, I ran into another store owner who's going to sell them too :).

3. I also got a lead on two more shops that might be interested. I'm a franchise!

4. I've been diagnosed ( well, by Dr. G and Dr.Stacie) with a heel spur in my left heel. Or has Dr.G would say, Plantar Fasciitis... mr. fancy. Anyway, hurts like hell. I can barely walk after a run/walk and when I wake in the mornings. It's time for drugs and a special sock. woo-hoo.

5. Impressive thing though... when I have on the Nike's, it doesn't hurt. Maybe I should sleep in them?

6. I took more real estate photos for a brochure. Actually one of them is below this post, although it won't have the psuedo-HDR effects.

7. Big drama in little town... we recently all received street signs ( yeah, haven't had any in 6 years ).. well, someone knocked them all down and stole them all the other night. These kids seriously need to find something else to do for fun.

8. I've decided I have a peanut butter M&M addiction. I'm glad the store doesn't carry them that often.

9. This is for anyone in Facebook/Pet Society.. don't you HATE that damn frisbee and those damn hurdles?? They really piss me off.

10. I'll finally have mega TV and HD DVR in my living room on Sunday.. just in time for the next Cowboys game :)

11. And yeah.. I heard about Pacman Jones.. no surprise and no comment.

12. I just looked outside, here comes the frozen rain.

13. I wonder if I have any cocoa?
