Anonymous

I had to turn off anonymous comments. I'm getting some AWFUL spam that come through as anonymous. And.. you can't delete them. Or I can't anyway through the normal fashion.
Is anyone else getting these? They are HUGE comments and say really terrible things. I wouldn't advertise for them, but I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem and why I can't delete them.
So if you were using anon before, I apologize.

It's raining here this morning.. (shocker, I know) but if feels and sounds wonderful. I wish I could get some of that to send home.
The kittens love the place, they're the only cats, I guess that must be cool. Taylor's not so sure, she has to be leash walked.

Looking at a couple rental places with the GreekChick today, cross your fingers she finds something she likes :)

The Last Jump

All Things End

What to say...What to say.

The sis and nephew fly out tomorrow. Lucky me I get to get up very very early to take them into Spokane. Should be fun since I hardly slept last night.
It's finally getting cooler... 80's during the day. It was 46 degrees last night and since I didn't check first I still had windows and fans going. Quite the chilly wake-up call.
The fires are closer and evacuations everywhere...but luckily (*knocks on wood)..nothing around us.

I had some 8x10's made of some of my photos for a store in a few towns over to sell...I got them today. I was really excited how good they look. It's quite different to see them posted here, and then see them enlarged and framed. Cool :)

I have a few sick kitties in the house.
Jonesie is on antibiotics.
Hobbes got bit today on the head (by Taylor (bad dog) and has a kitty-cusion, AND an eye infection.
Hmm..I guess that's two. Two too many though.

Heh.. I was just called on the phone, the kids are jumping cliffs for the last time and want photos.

I'll be back.

Sweet Nature

Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.

Day-to-Day

Not much to talk about from here. Life is just moving day to day.
I took the group to an area with large cedar trees yesterday, but that was really the extent of getting out.
They've done a lot of swimming, I guess getting their fill before heading back to Texas.
Still have some smoke around us, still in the 90's during the day, but it looks like we may be getting some cooler weather. Still no rain unfortunately, and we need it badly. My grass just crunches when you walk on it.

We have several bucks in the area, so I'm hoping to get more photos of them. They are smart and show up early morning or early evening when lighting isn't so hot.
Sly aren't they?

Festival Photos

Here's a few shots from the festival. The last two have mild nudity. You can see the smoke in some of the photos in the background.
I didn't see anyone on the mechanical bull, but that would have been fun. They even had one for photos, but I wasn't thinking I guess.

We wanted to go back this weekend, but it's not looking so good without a sitter around for the little one.
I can only imagine what that place is like on the weekends :)

It's Friday...

Birthday Fun

So.. for my birthday (thanks for all the wishes!), we drove into Clinton for the Testicle Festival. For one it was a wild drive because of the fires over that way. We came to parts of the freeway where they had signs up warning us of fire, and signs warning not to stop or park. The smoke was very heavy and even burned your eyes a bit.
The festival was a little calm, expected for the middle of the day and middle of the week, BUT... it was a sight. Obviously, clothing is optional and we did see a few men and one woman who decided not to wear clothing. I did get a few photos, but it wasn't easy considering I stood out like a sore thumb with that big camera.
I didn't take obvious photos, they were all from the back and far enough away, but fun nonetheless. It was 97 degrees so you almost can't blame them.

There was a souvenier shop with some pretty interesting items and shirts.
There was a mechanical bull, and people setting up to play music for the evening.
I'm guessing an evening or weekend would have been a bit more lively. We will try to go back if possible.

Oh.. and we did try the testicles. Not bad. Tasted like chicken :)

**more photos to come later.

Delayed

We weren't able to hit the Testy Festy today, I found out it's adult only and we have my little nephew here. If by chance we can get out there though we will definitely go. If anything, just to get the shirt above :)

Instead the youngsters found some new cliffs to jump from and we headed out there for the day.
It was a perfect day for it if you can ignore the smoke everywhere. I have a lot more photos of course and will post a few more soon.

I Have No Title

I've got nuthin.
It's cooling down a bit, but the fires are getting closer. There's a pretty major one right outside of Missoula that we can see/smell smoke from this morning.
We thought about checking out The Testicle Festival that started today, but I'm wondering what the smoke situation will be like.
The children are still diving off cliffs daily and trying to up the danger each time. I claim no responsibility.

That's it. Yeehaw :)
